New features andenhancements

• In this software update, there is a new feature: 'Nearby Offers', which shows you locations on your navigation screen that are featuring special offers - like a cafe, restaurant, or filling station, for example. If you are interested, simply tap the logo of the business labelled with a '%' to access detailed information.
  • If you like what you see, you can send the special offer to yourKia Connect app, so you have it on your smartphone.
  • The countries providing this feature will be expanded sequentially.

Navigation Software Update

• When traffic problems are detected on your route, the system automatically calculates and displays the comparative time and distance of an alternative route. The navigation system ensures, that you can always see how fast your current route is.
  • The system consistently guides you to the optimal route, regardless of current location or time, even in the event of changing traffic conditions or congestions on the roads.
  • You can configure the [Compare routes] feature by going to [Settings] > [Navigation] > [Route guidance].
  • You can also check this in the map view on the split screen of the navigation system. It will be displayed when you select [Route overview] under [Map view].

While driving, enjoy the changing seasons with these evocative soundscapes.

• The EV menu in the split screen has been updated. Using the split screen, easily check information on charging stations, whether it is one of your favourites, near your set destination, or one nearby.
  • In addition to the battery status and range, the system will display the status of a favourite charging station, the charging station set as the destination, or a nearby charging station based on your driving situation. Press the [More] button at the bottom of the split screen to access more details about the charging station displayed, as well as information about additional charging stations.
  • If you have not saved your favourite charging stations, simply press the [Add] button to add a station to your favourites.
  • We have also included a power consumption graph for your vehicle, allowing you to monitor your power usage at a glance.

• You can connect Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly, without using a USB cable!
  • Go to [Settings] > [Phone connections] and press the [Add new] button to connect your smartphone. Wireless connection is possible only when both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions of the smartphone are turned On.
  • When starting the vehicle, the previously connected device is automatically connected. To use it, press [Apple CarPlay] or [Android Auto] in the [Home] menu.
  • Customers who previously used Apple CarPlay or Android Auto by using a USB cable should delete the device information registered on the smartphone and in the vehicle and then register again. You can delete a registered device by pressing the [Delete devices] button in the [Phone connections].

  Downloading or copying it from other sources can lead to update failures and lead to critical issues to the navigation system

  TheSD card slot is located just below/above the vehicle display screen
  • If your vehicle has a 16 GB SD card, please purchase a high-grade 32 GB SD card

  • If your vehicle has a 32 GB SD card, please use it to update
    Please do not use SD card to save music or other data files
    
• Ifyour navigation system does not have a SD card, you need to use a USB flash drive for updating software and map
  • Pleaseformat (ExFat) the USB before using theNaUsoftware
• Whenselecting your vehicle, make sure the model/model year are correct before starting the download process
  • If the wrong model/model year is chosen, the update cannot be performed
• Pleaseselect the correct drive on your PC if you connect multiple media to yourPC
  • Disconnect the media after only after confirming the download process is complete
• Disconnectingthe media during the download process can lead to corrupt files and a map update failure
• Note:
  • this update provides software (that may include adding new features and removing others) and map data that may change user and interface experience
    After installation, it is not possible to revert to the previous software version
  • Certain new features such as Connected Routing and Weather Data require active Kia Connect subscription to access
• Warning:
  1. During vehicle software installation, engine must be running to keep the battery charged
     Do not turn off the ignition switch or eject SD card/USB during upgrade procedure
  2. Updating navigation while idling may violate the relevant traffic regulation
     Please be sure to comply with your local traffic regulations before proceeding with the update
  3. How to double check your car is running
     • The start switch should indicate “ON” or the light on the start button is lit
     • a software update could effect the functionality of aftermarket component(i.g. aftermarket rear view camera, speakers, etc.)
