Kevin Conroy, best known for voicing Batman on Warner Bros.’ long-running TV show “Batman: The Animated Series,” has died after a short battle with cancer. He was 66. “Batman: The Animated Series” originally aired for 85 episodes on Fox Kids from 1992-1995. Conroy’s deep, gravelly Batman voice was widely acclaimed by critics and comic book fans, with many regarding the actor as the definitive Caped Crusader. The series also featured Mark Hamill’s memorable performance as the Joker. “Kevin was perfection,” Hamill said in a statement. “He was one of my favorite people on the planet, and I loved him like a brother. He truly cared for the people around him – his decency shone through everything he did. Every time I saw him or spoke with him, my spirits were elevated.”

On Twitter last December, Kevin Conroy responded to Mark Strauss's proposal that, "if the CDC wanted to get all Americans vaccinated, it should rely on Kevin Conroy's voice of Batman." "Great idea!” Conroy replied. “Let's contact the CDC, it's time to save Gotham City with vaccines!"

Playboy Playmate and “Ghostbusters” actress Kymberly Herrin has died at 65. Herrin passed away peacefully in her home in Santa Barbara, California, Oct. 28, according to an obituary in the Santa Barbara News-Press. Herrin was a model and actress, appearing on several magazine covers as well as in movies, including her memorable part as the Dream Ghost in 1984’s “Ghostbusters” — notably in an infamous, sensual scene with Dan Aykroyd’s character Ray Stantz. Herrin — who also appeared in that year’s “Romancing the Stone,” which starred Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito — is additionally remembered as one of a handful of models who strut their stuff in the music video for ZZ Top’s hit song “Legs.” The model was featured on the cover of Playboy’s September 1982 and September 1983 issues. Herrin served as Playmate of the Month for Playboy’s March 1981 edition. She also played a Playmate in the 1987 film “Beverly Hills Cop II.” A cause of death has not been revealed, but the family asked for donations to the American Cancer Society in Herrin’s honor “to further the research of the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.”

A healthy 18-year-old girl from Texas went to sleep on the day she took her Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine. The next day her mother went to wake her up and discovered she had already passed away. According to the teen’s mother Renee, Kayla Rose Lumpkins, who has just started college at the University of Texas, went to bed happy on September 8. “I found her dead in her bed the next morning. She had been sleeping in the same position she always did,” the grieving mother wrote in a social media group. “I am in complete shock. She was not sick. She acted like her normal self.” Renee’s mother just died in December 2021 and she’s still trying to heal from that. “But an 18-year-old? I feel like my life is over,” she lamented and pointed out that her daughter was physically healthy until she received her booster shot. “She had two [vaccines]. Then she had a third one for good measure. I’m telling you all, she was healthy. With her crazy schedule – choir, theater, drill team, morning practices, rehearsals, football game halftime performances, plays, concerts, excelling in her honor dual credit classes and everything else she did, there was no way she was sick. If she was, she wouldn’t have been able to do that,” she said. An autopsy was done and it would take up to 90 days for the results to come out. “We are waiting to find out something. We’re halfway there,” the mother added. Gateway Pundit reported that the mother said in a now-deleted post that she believed her daughter passed away because of the experimental mRNA vaccine. “I posted yesterday about how my absolutely healthy and athletic daughter went to sleep on September 8th and never woke up,” she wrote.

He felt the depth of human experience and refused to trade profundity for the mundaneness of a traditional lifestyle. Instead, he chose to prioritize the needs of the people he loved, to explore the minds of strangers and the extent of human imagination through reading endless books, to experience the support of the earth and the power of the sun through spending a day lying on the ground looking up at the sky, to generate humor and silliness in the lives of those around him, and to satisfy his curiosity and need for independent thought through learning new skills and pouring himself into projects.
