Audience Member EIN PAAR DER BESTEN DIALOGE ALLERZEITENWill Hunting ist 20. Jahre alt, lebt in einem abgewrackten Haus und arbeitet als Hausmeister in einer Uni. Was dort keiner weiss ist das Will ein Genie ist, selbst Aufgaben die denn Mathematikprofessoren zu hoch sind löst er mit Leichtigkeit. Allerdings hat er ein Aggressionsproblem, was ihn ins Gefängnis bringt. Dank eines Deals kommt er frei, muss allerdings zu einem Therapeuten und als er diesen kennenlernt, ändert sich sein Leben.Dieser Film von 1997 geht ca. 126 Minuten und ist ab 12 Jahren freigegeben. Wir haben hier ein Oscar prämiertes Meisterwerk mit Matt Damon in der Hauptrolle, der zusammen mit Ben Affleck das Drehbuch schrieb und den Oscar dafür bekam.Wow, mich hat dieser Streifen von Anfang bis Ende gefesselt, begeistert und beeindruckt. Matt Damon spielt großartig, obwohl die Figur des Will Hunting wahrlich kein Sympathieträger ist und ich ihn nicht immer mochte. Er ist zwar hochintelligent und kann auf alles ne Antwort geben, allerdings ist er aufbrausend und demütigt Leute. Die Dialoge sind über die ganzen 2h weg der Hammer, manche davon berühren das Herz und brennen sich ins Gedächtnis ein. Die Charakterentwicklung findet bei allen statt, keiner ist am Ende mehr so wie er noch zu Beginn des Streifens war. Mein Highlight war Robin Williams, der völlig zu recht den Oscar als bester Nebendarsteller bekam. Seine Worte, seine Aura und Präsenz sind fantastisch. Wie er es schafft dem eingebildeten Will die Augen zu öffnen ist bewundernswert.Am Ende bleibt ein wunderbarer Streifen über das ausschöpfen von Potential, Menschen verstehen und lesen können aber auch mit sich selbst im reinen zu sein so das man am Ende seines Lebens nichts bereut.Von mir bekommt der Film 9/10 Punkte. Die Szene wo Robin Williams über seine Frau spricht tieb mir wirklich die Tränen in die Augen. Maybe, if this movie was a comedy he would've fit his role better. Secondly, there was no climax to the story at all. There was nothing to keep my attention and instead of ending in a dramatic climax it just died down. Finally, Will obviously was not in love with Skylar, he repeatedly told her so. He was so unattatched to her and yet he chose to leave his home and all his friend for her. Also, "i gotta go see about a girl"??? What the hell is that. That's a stupid line that means nothing and adds nothing to the story. Overall, not a good movie. Honestly a waste of my time. The movie needed two hours to make him look like a decent human being and less of a jerk who treats everybody like trash. Anyway amazing story overall, but it could have been better.
